Introduction: The Global SME Summit, Pre-Davos Pakistan Edition 2026 is a strategic initiative led by Global SME Business Home (GSBH) Switzerland, in collaboration with its official event partner in Pakistan, Badar Expo Solutions. The summit is designed to prepare Pakistan for impactful participation at the 2nd Global SME Summit Davos 2027 and to strengthen the country’s global trade positioning through structured international engagement.
The 1st Global SME Summit 2025 marked a major international success, welcoming delegates from across the globe, where Pakistan’s 25-member delegation received notable recognition particularly through the impactful representation of Mr. Khawaja Masood Akhtar, CEO of Forward Sports Pvt Limited. This milestone demonstrated Pakistan’s ability to access 100+ global markets through strategic lobbying, credible representation, and coordinated collaboration at the international level
Under the overarching theme of building globally competitive Pakistani brands, the Pakistan Edition focuses on franchising for international expansion, green logistics and sustainable trade beyond 2027, export compliance and certifications, access to international distribution networks, and digital transformation in global commerce.
Starting from Pakistan, this initiative will expand into a series of regional summits in Turkey, Tanzania, Germany, United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia, leading up to the second Global SME Summit in Davos, Switzerland in 2027.
More than a networking platform, this structured global roadmap serves as a strategic gateway for Pakistan to strengthen its international presence, boost exports, build cross-border alliances, and position its products and services competitively in premium global markets.
